Asaf Selinger, Information Officer at the ISRAELI CONSULATE IN NY, gets rave reviews at presentation on june 18

Asaf Selinger was tremendously popular at his BZ SPEAKER SERIES presentation held in the Bnai Zion auditorium on a rainy June evening. After he concluded his talk, attendees lingered to ask Asaf questions and further the dialogue. With guests snacking on outstanding grilled corn-on-the-cob, Asaf generously stayed on to provide more insight on his perspective of Israeli-Palestinian relations.

BNAI ZION packed the house for our prelude to summer

cocktail party on June 3

Although unfortunately the weather did not cooperate to allow us to hold our Prelude to Summer Cocktail Party on our magnificant terrace,we still had a packed ballroom on Wednesday evening, June 3.  Lilach Koch, the Israeli jazz vocalist, sang American standards and guests enjoyed delectable sushi samplings from Darna Restaurant.

Gotham Wines provided a very fine selection of Israeli varieties for tastings, and the energetic, young crowd had a great time.

Over 25 Bnai Zion enthusiasts marched in support of the organization in the Salute to Israel Parade on Sunday, May 31 up Fifth Avenue. Bnai Zion had a very vibrant, colorful banner truck and our participants wore BZ tshirts and hats. It was a wonderful celebration of Israel and very fine exposure for Bnai Zion.
